IEUGA Board Selects Seattle for Expandability 2010
The IEUGA Board of Directors has chosen the Hyatt at Olive 8 in Seattle as the site of the 2010 Expandable Users Conference.
After a late-August tour of potential hotel properties in downtown Seattle, the Hyatt was chosen for its central downtown location and outstanding conference center. "The Hyatt at Olive 8 is an excellent fit for our group," stated Jim Phelan, vice president of the IEUGA who took part in the site selection tour. "It's a brand new hotel built with an eye towards groups of our size so we'll have the entire conference center to ourselves. The meeting rooms are spacious and well-lit with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide lots of natural light."
Thanks to all who took the time to recommend their city in the "Bring Expandability to Your City" contest.
At the 2008 Expandable Users Conference in San Francisco, the list of cities suggested by Expandable users was voted on by conference participants. The top two cities ended up being Seattle and San Diego.
