What's New in Expandable v8.4
The latest version of Expandable, v8.4, has been released and is now available to download from the Download Library of the Expandable Resource Center.
No More "Out of User Licenses" Error
Those who have experienced running out of user licenses because users open multiple sessions of Expandable without logging out will appreciate the new feature that only counts a user once regardless of the number of times the user is logged into Expandable on the same client.
Kit from Multiple Storerooms at the Same Time
Have you ever wished you could kit from whichever storerooms your parts are located so you wouldn't have to exit the Kit Shortage Editor to transfer all your parts into one storeroom?
In past releases of Expandable you were restricted to kitting from one Storeroom at a time even if you had parts in another Storeroom. With v8.4 you have the option to remove the job's Kit From Stores restriction.
Top Level Now Shown on the MRP Pegging
How many times have you reviewed your MRP report and looked at the pegging of a component that is four levels down in the bill of material and wished you could see the top level to which it is pegged?
Your request has been answered in version 8.4. All you have to do is check the new Top Level Pegging Information selection option on the Material Requirements report and the report will display the normal pegging next level up as well as the Top Level (view sample in PDF format).
Purge Unsuccessful Check Runs
Have you ever experienced a printer jam while making a check run and have your check run turn into a nightmare? With Expandable v8.4 you can now verify your check runs before updating and purge any that do not complete successfully.
Version 8.4 includes the following new features plus many more:
New MRP Top Level Pegging
New Part Plan Create From Sales Order Utility
Added ability to transfer parts between consignment storerooms
New SN Inventory Spreadsheet Create and SN Inventory Status Update Utilities
New AP Check Selection Purge
New AP Check Distribution Report
Modified the Expandable login logic to only count a user once regardless of the number of times the user logs into Expandable on the same client
Enhanced e-Purchase Requisitions to allow processing of stock buys
New optional Multi-Run Planning Module
