A Full Range of Dynamic Breakout Sessions:
Using Triggers and Stored Procedures to Customize Expandable
Expandable is a great ERP system, but there are some things it just doesn't do. Because the system is built on SQL Server you have the option of creating triggers and stored procedures in your database to accomplish the things that everyone has always said "Expandable can't do that!" In this session John Borges takes you through what triggers and stored procedures are and how they can be used to enhance Expandable. Included will be examples of each that he has implemented to greatly improve productivity and decrease the need for reports.
Sales and Use Tax Compliance with Expandable
The complex issues of sales and use tax can be onerous for organizations who sell taxable products. For organizations that have employees in remote locations (known as Nexus), selling and marketing products and services can expose liabilities. This session is designed to provide information on how to utilize Expandable and ADP Taxware as a tool to manage your sales and use tax. In addition, Expandable has developed some add-on tools to make the sales tax implementation process go smoothly and accurately.
Crystal Reports - Putting Two and Two Together
Do you have five copies of the same report except for sort changes? Do you hate to make changes if you find an error in one? If you do, this session is for you.  While Bob creates a report from scratch you will learn how to use Crystal Reports to allow a user to select their own sort sequence from a parameter prompt or from questions in Report Manager. Learn what to modify in the report to get everything you need: headers, details, totals. This can apply to a crosstab report also so data elements in the crosstab can be changed to make completely different reports - all from one report template.
GL Consolidation for Multiple Currencies
Expandable's GL Consolidation Utility (GLUCU) consolidates financial data from multiple databases and multiple currencies. In this session, Mary Piasecki demonstrates how to use GLUCU to consolidate multiple currency databases to US dollars and explains how consolidated financials can be prepared from this data.
Customizing Your Inquiries
Do you ever wish you could display additional columns in your Inquiry screens? Or maybe you would like to change the default selection fields on your inquiries. This session walks through how to customize your Inquiries so that they default to the specific information you need to access. After this session you'll be able to add new fields/columns and customize the selection criteria on your Inquiry screens.

Inventory Management Using Mobile Devices
Managing inventory in many locations can be challenging. Fortunately today's marketplace includes new products designed to help. Using mobile device technology from MobileFrame and Symbol, Expandable customer Microvention developed a consignment inventory and warehouse inventory tracking application that allows their warehouse managers to periodically capture and monitor inventory remotely. The scanning application was developed specifically to help capture inventory data in a more efficient manner and ease the inventory reconciliation process. This session demonstrates how Microvention uses mobile devices to capture product information through barcode scanning, transmit information via active sync, and return summarized reports for status feedback. Who should attend? - Finance & accounting, inventory managers, IT admin, and warehouse managers.

Demystifying PLM
ERP, PDM, PLM, they're all the same, right? Wrong. A common misconception is that ERP and/or PDM replace the need for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. What is PLM? PLM enables product companies and their partners to collaboratively define, maintain and securely share product and compliance information from concept to end-of-life. George Lewis, Director, Solutions Consulting, Arena Solutions will discuss what PLM is, how it differs from ERP and PDM solutions and how these applications can work hand in hand. A clear understanding of these software systems can lead to the adoption of a powerful solution to common challenges discrete manufacturers face today.
